Community is our word for living out the Gospel.
At Redeemer we take seriously God’s invitation to rest and play together as his beloved community. There is a huge variety of ways we do this throughout the year, and the best way to stay connected is to keep up with our weekly emails and Sunday announcements.

Several Saturdays throughout the year, we open the church deliberately as a place of rest and quiet. Folks walk the grounds and pray, relax in the sanctuary, or read books in the Abbey House. Morning, Midday, and Evening Prayer are said in the Chapel for any who want to join. For upcoming Quiet Days, check the weekly email.

Quarterly men’s breakfasts are a staple of community life at Redeemer. Men gather early on a Saturday to cook a hearty meal together. A guest speaker shares something interesting to generate conversation; new friendships are formed; future men’s events are planned. To learn more contact Fr. Kenny Benge.

Undergirding most of our expressions of rest and play as a community are ministries of hospitality. If you love to cook, bake, or create beautiful and welcoming spaces, we’d love to have your gifts to help with church meals and events throughout the year. To learn how you can get involved, contact Juliana McCollum.

Anchoring our worship life as a whole is the Church Year, an ancient spiritual pattern based on the story of Jesus’ incarnation, death, and resurrection. The flavor and tone of things at Redeemer varies dramatically along with the seasons: Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, Pentecost, Trinity Sunday, and the Ordinary Time of summer and fall.
This rhythm is highly visible on Sundays, but it also means our year is punctuated by a few other high Holy Days as well: Christmas Eve, The Feast of Epiphany, All Saints’ Day, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Ascension Day. We encourage everyone to join us as we draw near to God, marking time according to the Gospel.
We worship together on Sundays at 9:00am and 10:45am at 920 Caldwell Lane in Nashville, Tennessee.
The 9:00am service is streamed live on our Facebook page.
